The DJI Ronin-SC Gimbal Stabilizer offers numerous enhancements over its predecessor, the Ronin-S. This compact and lightweight three-axis, single-handle gimbal is designed for small mirrorless cameras weighing under 4.4 lb. Despite its smaller size, the Ronin-SC is packed with features, design improvements, and advanced technology. It provides stabilization, and control over pan, tilt, and roll, along with 360° continuous panning for smooth 3D/360° motion shots.

Weighing just 2.4 lb, the gimbal is ultra-portable, making it easier to handle for extended periods. It includes two locking modes for balancing your camera and for storage. The sliding quick-release camera plate allows easy rebalancing after relocation—balance your camera in the lock position, remove it with the plate, store the gimbal, then remount and activate it, and your camera remains balanced.

The Ronin-SC includes a record button and joystick for precise control, and a re-center front trigger button to return the gimbal to its default position. The M button, when held, activates Sport Mode for quick tracking in action shots. The Android or iOS app over Bluetooth 5.0 enables Active Track 3.0 for subject tracking without manual controls. DJI’s Force Mobile lets you control the gimbal’s motion with your smartphone’s gyroscope, offering more precise movements. Additional features include time-lapse and motion-lapse modes.

Powered by a 2450mAh rechargeable 18650 LiPo battery in its handle, the Ronin-SC offers up to 11 hours of use on a single charge. It charges via USB Type-C and can control camera functions like run/stop or focus pulling with the included USB cables. The handle includes 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 mounting threads for accessories like the included smartphone holder.

Included accessories are an extended grip/tripod, camera riser, lens support, port cover, Allen wrench, quick-release plate with 1/4″-20 camera mounting screw, an M4 screw, multicamera USB control cable, multicamera USB Type-C control cable, USB Type-C charging cable, USB Type-C to micro-USB adapter, and a storage case.
