The DJI RS3 Pro Gimbal Stabilizer Combo has been redesigned to be more compact and powerful than its predecessor, the Ronin RS 2. With a carbon fiber body weighing only 3.3 lb and a payload capacity of up to 10 lb, it can support and stabilize midsize cameras such as the Sony FX6 or Canon C70 with a 24-70mm zoom lens. It features a larger full-color OLED display, a new fine-tuning knob, and enhanced stability, making it an essential part of any professional camera kit. The Combo kit includes an updated focus motor, a motor rod mount kit with gear strip, a briefcase handle, a BG30 grip, a lower extended quick release plate, a wireless Ronin Image Transmitter, a phone holder, USB multicamera control cables, multiple HDMI cables, power cables, and a lens-fastening strap.

Quick Release Plates

The new Extended Lower Quick Release Plate offers more stable camera mounting and simplifies the installation of lens support for secure settings.

Automated Axis Locks

With the gimbal powered off, holding the power button unlocks the three axes and automatically expands the gimbal, allowing you to start working in just two seconds. Pressing the power button once locks the axes and puts the gimbal in sleep mode, streamlining transport and storage.

Wireless Shutter Control

Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology enables efficient and reliable wireless shutter control, automatically reconnecting previously paired cameras to save time.

Integrated Controls

A new fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis allows millimeter-grade precision adjustments for accurate balancing when changing lenses. Teflon-coated components reduce friction, enabling smoother balancing even with heavy cameras. A new gimbal mode switch allows easy toggling between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and customizable FPV modes. The front dial can control zoom or focus and be customized for shutter, aperture, ISO, or gimbal movements, facilitating single-handed operation.

Third-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm

The next-generation stabilization algorithm enhances the RS 3 Pro’s stability by 20% over the RS 2, handling low-angle shots, running scenarios, and position switches effortlessly.

Get Super Smooth Results

Super Smooth mode increases motor torque to further enhance stabilization, ensuring stable footage even in fast-moving scenarios or with 100mm-equivalent focal lenses.

Active Track Pro

Active Track Pro offers unprecedented accuracy and responsiveness, directly reading images from the camera built into the LiDAR Range Finder without needing the Ronin Image Transmitter. You can monitor and frame subjects directly on the RS 3 Pro’s OLED touchscreen.

Large 1.8″ OLED Touchscreen

The 1.8″ OLED full-color touchscreen is 28% larger than the RS 2’s, making it easier to set parameters, check shooting status, and frame subjects. The redesigned user interface is more intuitive and precise, with higher brightness and lower power consumption than the RS 2’s LCD.

Carbon Fiber Construction

The RS 3 Pro’s arms are made from uncut carbon fiber sheets, making them lighter and stronger than the jointed carbon fiber material used on the RS 2, increasing stiffness and reducing weight for demanding shooting environments.

LiDAR Compatibility

The Ronin 4D’s LiDAR focusing technology is applied to the RS 3 Pro, with the new optional LiDAR Range Finder projecting 43,200 ranging points within a 14-meter area to facilitate handheld focusing.

Remote Control

The High-Bright Remote Monitor can be used with Ronin 4D Hand Grips, DJI Master Wheels, or DJI Force Pro for precise gimbal and focus control. Its built-in gyroscopic sensor allows it to function as a standalone motion controller for the RS 3 Pro without additional accessories, enabling complex camera movements from a moving vehicle or with a jib.

Wireless Camera Control

When mounted on carriers like a jib, cable cam, or vehicle suction cup, Mirror Control mode enables seamless wireless control from anywhere on set, allowing direct control of core menu operations for Sony mirrorless cameras via the remote monitor.

Enhanced Battery and Fast Charging

The new RS 3 Pro battery grip features a cartridge design for easier battery swapping and smaller storage. It provides up to 12 hours of runtime and supports 18W PD fast charging, with a full charge taking just 2.5 hours. The battery can be charged separately from the gimbal and used while charging for continuous power.

Extensive Ports and Accessories

With dual RSA/NATO ports and a battery port, the RS 3 Pro supports various accessories like the Twist Grip Dual Handle, Tethered Control Handle, and the new DJI Briefcase Handle for diverse shooting requirements.
