RS 4 Enhanced operational efficiency, native vertical shooting, and an expanded accessory ecosystem make the DJI RS 4 Gimbal Stabilizer Combo a powerful asset for mirrorless camera users. Weighing approximately 2.4 lb, the gimbal can support loads up to 6.6 lb, accommodating your compact camera setup. The combo includes a Focus Pro Motor with a rod mount kit, a focus gear strip, a briefcase handle, and a carrying case. Teflon-coated axes reduce friction for smoother balancing and operation. Additional intuitive features include a fine-tuning knob, an auto-locking OLED screen, and an RSA communication port for expanded accessory use.

Second-Generation Quick Release Plate Design Building on its predecessor’s dual-layered quick release plates, the RS 4 simplifies camera mounting and balancing. The newly designed horizontal plate allows for faster transitions to native vertical shooting, while a fine-tuning knob adjusts the tilt axis for precise forward or backward camera movement. The upper plate features placement guides for secure mounting.

Second-Generation Automated Axis Locks When powered off, holding the power button unlocks the three axes, allowing the gimbal to expand automatically for use within two seconds. Pressing the power button once locks the axes and puts the gimbal into sleep mode, enhancing mobility and storage efficiency. The refined design minimizes gaps when locked, reducing gimbal shake.

RSA Communication Port The RSA communication port enables integration of Ronin series accessories with your gimbal setup. You can add Ronin-specific or third-party accessories with control capabilities to switch between various shooting configurations. The DJI RS SDK protocol allows third-party manufacturers and developers to create customized functions for the RS 4.

Wireless Shutter Control With Dual-Mode Bluetooth, the RS 4 offers wireless shutter control, streamlining the shooting process. After the initial Bluetooth pairing, you can control video and photo shooting via the stabilizer’s record button. Previously paired cameras reconnect automatically, eliminating the need for a control cable.

New DJI Focus Pro Motor Connect the RS 4 to the included Focus Pro Motor via the designated USB-C port. The motor, with a 30% speed increase, allows lens focusing via dial and zooming via joystick.

Integrated Controls The new gimbal mode switch lets you toggle between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes. FPV mode is customizable to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom, enabling quick adjustments. Other intelligent features include motion-lapse, track, and panorama.

Fourth-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm Powered by a next-generation stabilization algorithm, the RS 4 offers improved stability over the RS 3, efficiently handling vertical shooting, fast movements, and low-angle shots.

Auto-Locking OLED Screen The RS 4 features a fixed OLED touchscreen with an auto-lock feature. Once locked, the screen displays current gimbal and joystick movements at low brightness to prevent accidental switching and conserve battery.

Integrated Monitoring and Control Adjust camera exposure remotely via the Ronin app or control the gimbal with the virtual joystick for a comprehensive monitoring and control experience. The Ronin Image Transmitter allows a smartphone to act as a motion controller, providing flexible and dynamic camera movements.

Enhanced Battery and Fast Charging The RS 4 battery grip, designed for easy swapping and compact storage, provides up to 12 hours of runtime. It supports 18W PD fast charging, with a full charge in just 2.5 hours, and can be used while charging to keep the RS 4 powered almost indefinitely.
